TB consultation rooms completed

 TB Clinic extension is completed!

The TB Clinic extension includes a separate entrance and treatment area for patients with TB. As well as providing a tailored environment for these patients, it will also have a tremendous impact on the clinics’ other patients. They will no longer come into contact with TB patients while they wait and receive treatment, and the risk of cross infection will be removed.  

 ‘This extension will be beneficial to both the clinic as a whole and to the community.  It will prevent cross infection in the clinic, and in the community.  The specialized staff will improve the quality of care and health education for those with TB’ Sister Shawuka, Senior Nurse

This extension will decrease the risk of cross contamination both for patients and staff.
