MAI & funds raised: MAI is a small Christian charity that supports local Christian health partners to deliver quality and affordable healthcare to poor and vulnerable communities (of all faiths and none) in challenging contexts and insecure and marginalised regions of the world. MAI currently works with Martha Health Clinic in South Sudan, Guinebor 2 Hospital in Chad (focusing on providing affordable care for pregnant mothers & malnourished children and plans to build a new female ward and launch a pilot integrated Therapy Outpatient programme for disabled children). Embo Community Health Clinic in South Africa which provides community care for patients with HIV, TB and chronic diseases and Chinchpada Christian Hospital (CCH) in India. MAI’s Christmas Carol Concert – all profits and donations will help CCH build a desperately needed Critical Care Unit in the Maharashtra district, a poor and rural region of India, where Christians are often marginalised. MAI’s Chair Steve Sanderson (also a BMS World Mission Director) will be giving a short address on CCH’s Hospital and its Vision and need for the new ICU at MAI’s Carol Concert. For more info on MAI’s work click here to see MAI’s latest 2021/22 Annual Review.
