MAI Annual Review 2021-22, Unconditional love in a chaotic world

Annual Review 2021-22

I do this work because I love to serve my community. I believe this is what Jesus meant when he said, ‘Love one another…’”
– Priscilla, community caregiver in South Africa

Priscilla works tirelessly to help people in Embo, South Africa. She’s also one of the MAI partners you can hear from in our 2021-22 Annual Review.

Our brand new Annual Review is out now, so take a look!

Over the last year, Priscilla and the team at Embo Community Church and Clinic have reached hundreds of people with community-based care, health education, food parcels, and pastoral phone calls. They’ve been a beacon of love in one of the hardest year’s their community has ever faced. And that has only been possible because of people like you.

The same is true for each of MAI’s inspiring partners.

Last year saw huge challenges – from the Delta variant that brought devastation in India to the civil disorder that broke out in South Africa. But, as ever, our partners responded to this chaos with courage, commitment and unconditional love.

Here are their stories. We hope they encourage you. You have played a part in every single one of them.
