Fundraise for us

Challenge 20

Celebrate 20 years of MAI by organising a Challenge 20 sponsored or fundraising event.

Since 2003, MAI has existed to bring health and hope in some of the world’s poorest places.

To celebrate this momentous anniversary, join us in daring to believe that we can reach £100,000 in total from all our Challenge 20 fundraising activities.

The money you raise will save lives and improve the health of people in desperate need, through the exceptional health care our trusted partners provide in Chad, South Sudan, India and South Africa.

Dare to challenge yourself (whatever a challenge is for you), or do something with your friends, family, work colleagues or fellow church members to raise  funds for the vital work of MAI.

You could organise your own challenge, such as a sponsored walk, swim or row for a distance that is a challenge for you.

Or you could organise a social event. You could:

  • bake and sell 20 cakes
  • have a ticketed breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea or dinner party
  • Have a movie night and charge people to come
  • organise a concert where musicians and other performers at your church sing, dance or play music
  • Or something else of your own choosing.  The possibilities are endless…

Joanna does solo trek for her Challenge 20

MAI’s Fundraising Manager plans to trek solo across the Lake District in 6-7 days during July 2023. She will be using no GPS: just a compass and good old fashioned OS Maps! So, if you are unable to organise a Challenge 20 event, but would like to sponsor Joanna, please visit her JustGiving page.
