Pastor Leonard Gcabashe who leads the church in Embo will be visiting the UK from April 25 to May 11. The main focus of his visit will be to share the good news of the KwaZulu Natal Health Department’s decision to fund staff, consumables and drugs costs as soon as the church can build a Clinic.
MAI has been supporting the church team, headed by a nurse, that gives home-based palliative care to the many people with HIV/Aids living in the rural valley community of Embo. Having sent several volunteer teams, MAI is now raising funds to provide a basic Clinic facility that will transform the life chances of this community.
